YAMIC delivered the third 66,000DWT bulk carrier to Bangladeshi shipowner
At 8:00 a.m. on March 24, the third 66,000 DWT bulk carrier 'MEGHNA HOPE' (Bangladesh flag) built by YAMIC for the Bangladeshi shipowner MEGHNA, sailed slowly from the shipyard's berth on her maiden voyage.

The 'MEGHNA HOPE' measures 199.99m in length, 36m in breadth, 18.45m in depth with design draft of 11.2m, classed by LR. She started her first steel-cutting in May 2022. With the concerted efforts of the owner's team, onsite supervision team, classification society and shipyard, the vessel was completed smoothly in 8 months.

The signing ceremony was held at 10 am on March 22. Attendees included Meghna's onsite supervision team Project Manager Mr. SM Shahan Shah, YAMIC's representatives - Mr. Song Shuming, Vice President of Yangzijiang Group and General Manager of YAMIC, Mr. Koji Tamura, COO of YAMIC, Mr. Chen Guoqiang, Deputy General Manager of YAMIC, and Mr. Shinichi Nakao, General Manager Assistant of YAMIC.
