On 15 July, the sixth new generation eco-friendly 82500 DWT bulk carrier “AQUAPEACE” built by YAMIC for Japanese shipowner departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage.

The “AQUAPEACE” measures 229.00m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 20.15m in depth with scantling draft of 14.55m, and was constructed in accordance with the rules and regulations of NK. Steel cuttingfor the vessel commenced on 19 September 2025, and she successfully completed her sea trial on 28 June 2026, with all performance indicators better than the design standards.

At 8:30 a.m. on 15 July, the “AQUAPEACE” was successfully delivered through the electronic signing of the delivery documents by both parties. Wish her safe voyages and prosperous operations in the years ahead!
