On 12 May, the new generation eco-friendly 82500 DWT bulk carrier “UM EHIME” built by YAMIC for Japanese shipowner departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyag.

The “UM EHIME” measures 229.00m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 20.15m in depth with design draft of 14.40m, and was constructed in accordance with the rules and regulations of NK. The vessel successfully completed its sea trial on 20 April 2026, with all performance indicators better than the design standards.

At 9:00 a.m. on 12 May, the “UM EHIME” was successfully delivered via electronic signature.Wish her a safe voyage, a full load and smooth sailing!
