On July 11th , the second 36000m³ dual-fuel LEG carrier "Brave Future" built by YAMIC for Norwegian shipowner departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage. Wish her a safe voyage with full load and a global reputation.

On the morning of July 9th, YAMIC held a grand naming ceremony for the vessel. Ms. Cristiane Rego, the Godmother, Mr. Andreas Reklev, COO of Ocean Yield, Mr. Hardi Schuck, CEO of Braskem Trading & Shipping, Dr. Niels Hartmann, CEO of Hartmann Holdings, Mr. Ulrich Adami, Managing Director of Hartmann, Mr. Ionut Cornell, Newbuilding Director of Hartmann, Mr. Long Ye Fei, Area Manager of Region Greater China, Mr. Norbert Kray, Regional Manager, Maritime Region Greater China of DNV, Ms. Yan Xiaolin, Area Manager of North China of DNV, Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and CEO of YAMIC, Mr. Koichiro Fuki, COO of YAMIC, Mr. Koji Tamura, COO of YAMIC, Mr. Yuji Ishimaru, CFO of YAMIC, Mr. Chen Guoqiang, Vice President of YAMIC, Mr. Shinichi Nakao, CMO of YAMIC, Mr. Yang Lifeng, Assistant to the General Manager of YAMIC, as well as representatives from all cooperation parties and employees, attended the naming ceremony.

After the successful delivery of “Brilliant Future” in January this year, it’s my great pleasure to welcome all of you here to witness the naming and delivery ceremony of the second dual-fuel LEG carrier. Taking this opportunity, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Charterer Braskem Ms. Cristiane, Mr. Hardi, and Buyer Ocean Yield Mr. Andreas. Thank you Dr. Hartmann, Captain. Adami, Mr. Ionut Cornea, Mr. Long Ye Fei, AC-INOX Mr. Sasha as well, and the entire Hartmann team for your consistent and reliable support. We also extend our thanks to DNV dedicated site team, for their diligent efforts and professional guidance. Meanwhile, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to every YAMIC staff who participated in this vessel. We’ll continuously work closely with you to develop and build more safer, greener, high-performance ships for our respected clients.

The godmother, Ms. Cristiane Rego named the new vessel and tossed with the champagne. Firecrackers and fireworks went off, whistles sounded, dragons and lions danced together. May the new vessel and her crews sail safely and bravely, bringing good luck and prosperity to the buyers and charterers, bringing glory to Hartmann, DNV, and YAMIC, bringing courage and hope to all.

On July 9th, Mr. Andreas Reklev, COO of Ocean Yield, and Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and CEO of YAMIC, signed the delivery documents on behalf of both parties.
